To me, the internet is the connection between me and the rest of the world. It allows you to talk, discuss, play games and research everything and anything. It says in the name of the creation; INTERnational NETwork. When the internet was first created, it was used in the war to communicate with other allies. Now it is used to communicate with friends on Facebook or Twitter, to listen to music, watch videos on YouTube, do home work etc. The list is endless...
Think about it, without the internet we would.... Well I don't know how to finish that sentence.

There are far better inventions than the internet. The light bulb, hospital machinery etc. Oh and ELECTRICITY. Without electricity, there would be no internet, light bulbs or anything. The internet is simply a by-product of the other technology developing at the time. It grew around other technology and merged together. The internet is almost a huge database of our likes, dislikes, music, people, knowledge and all the other stuff. A collection of web pages and emails.
